    Hello All!

I found these at an estate sale this weekend. I cleaned them up and they look really pretty. At first, from outside the bag, I thought they were place holders. When I got hole, i realized they lie flat like a plate. They are very small... about 2 in x 2 in. I found one entry on ebay that has them listed as candle coaster but I don't see how that's possible as small as they are. I'm thinking 2 mints or a bon bon would fit on it. Its not a bowl shape to put nuts in so not a nut bowl. Its Godinger brand. mint dish 1.jpeg

Maybe these are supports that hold the ends of a fork, knife and spoon during dinner so the tablecloth doesn't get spoiled.

You could ask Godinger in Ireland!

They look rather like decanter/bottle labels missing their chains.

Is that a space a chain could go on the protruding bits?

Thank you for your response. No, I thought the same thing, but there is nothing to attach anything to them. They lay very flat and stable on the table.

I like the idea of a small mint dish... could be.

Off the wall - WA guess! Perhaps it possible that they are "place cards" or "food tags" (like to identify a dish)? A name could be written on it in wax pencil and easily removed.

Someone on eBay has a bunch listed as calling card plates, but they're too small. Then I found this page with them listed as spoon rests which makes much more sense. The pattern seems to match some of their tea setshttps://www.walmart.com/ip/Godinger-SET-12-SPOON-RESTS/688860303
