I always seem to buy items that I am sure will be easy to ID.
When will I learn! I got this at an estate sale. They didn't know what it is either. It has an hourglass shape with 3 pouring spouts. There are 3 wooden handles with metal caps. It is 9" tall x 4 3/4" wide at the mouth.
I was sure that it would have something to do with wine or coffee, but I have googled everything I could think of and no luck.
I know that you are a very smart bunch (I read this board daily) and was hoping that you could help.
    Thank you. DSCF0043.JPG DSCF0040.JPG DSCF0046.JPG

Thank you komokwa. It really is sweet.
There are no marks or numbers to measure with.
Although I don't know anyone who measures their wine. I know I don't. lol
I was just hoping that I could find another example of it.

    Hi,
It would work great for pouring milk/cream for families with "righties" and "lefties" no reason to switch the handles. I do not want to leave anybody out so familes that have three hands also.:D It really is neat.

Google Hourglass Cocktail Shaker and you'll see a scad of them though I didn't note any with wood handles..................oh, and yours most likely didn't have a cover/strainer so it is probably more properly a martini pitcher......

Three handed family. That's a good one Greg! And thank you, it is starting to grow on me. It is really neat looking!
Mansons, thank you. I checked out the hourglass cocktail shaker and was happy to at least have finally seen that shape with 3 handles, wood or not. I will look at the martini shakers and see what I can find. Thank you all for your replies! It is much appreciated!

I have exactly the same thing and after years of trying to figure out what it is, I concluded that it is a coffee maker. Mine has a machine spamped funnel that fits into the top - the kind of funnel that would hold a paper coffee filter. Notice that each handle is aligned to pour out of one of the three spouts. Look at the Chemex coffee makers. This could be a knockoff of the design. The funnel also has no markings.
