WHAT IS THIS? ALUMINUM(?) DOG STATUE w/SCARY BLOOD RED EYES - DOOR STOP? HUBLEY?

    Anyone know what this is? I think it's made of aluminum - or maybe put metal? and has the craziest glass eyes I've ever seen! I thought it may be a door stop because it's too scary for a child's toy - but I don't think it's heavy enough.
    It does have a single screw holding it's two halves together just like a Hubley door stop - could this be a Hubley?
    It measures 10" long x 9" high

    You need to correct the "Red Eye" on your camera.

    It looks like a wide nosed fox with canine hip dysplasia.

    100% agree. Just have the head peering through the drapes in your front window and you won't have to worry about intruders or even solicitors.

    Believe if bearing its original paint it wouldn't look so weird - Hubley did cast in both iron and aluminum, or perhaps a repro (is that rust on the back foot - could it be iron with aluminum paint?).     The one identified on Etsy as aluminum does mention glass eyes...
