    Hello, people.

Anyone have a slight indication of what this object can be?
A chemistry instrument, maybe? Some tool from old hospitals?
    It worth some money?

Hi Jim, welcome to the boards! While waiting for someone who might know something to come along it might be helpful to know the size and if there are any makers marks etc.

    Thanks a lot, say_it_slowly.

Well... there is a scale above from 20 to 150. Milliliters, maybe...
    But no other apparent marks.

The base is approximately 20cm x 7 cm x 1cm and the cylinder is 18cm long without the "extension" with 3cm radius.

    Thanks for any help.

My DH said it may be a "reaction vessel for measuring changes in volume of gases."

It vaguely resembles a tire pressure gauge to me. There are 3 lines coming in the one end, each set with a shut-off valve, so it might be for testing pressure on three separate lines. Can't think of a specific application.

Looks like a plunger on the right side with stop gradations and a set screw. Consequently, I would think this is some kind of dispenser for whatever is inside. It has three exit nozzles to dispense to three locations. Should probably be set vertical with the three nozzles in the down position.

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

I now see the plunger now, Brad, and how it's aimed at the nozzles.

I don't think it's for putting something into a system. If that were the case, the top of the plunger would be more finger friendly. I think it's for measuring something out of a system.

I just don't know. It looks like that square rod extending from the end can be advanced or retracted on a rack and pinion operated by that handle, and the plunger thing at the top allows it to be set and fixed in steps.

So maybe it does add something to a system. Is there a shaft inside the glass tube? (Yes, I think I see the square rod running down to a black disk on the right.)

So here's what I'm thinking now: it's meant to withdraw something from one, or even two, of those lines, and then injecting that material back into the other lines in a closed system. It could be what's called a mix head.

    Is the tube broken?

Yes, unfortunately, the glass is broken. The mount is inclined and doesn't seem to be intent to use in vertical because of that, but into the mount.
There is a toothed shaft coupled to an internal gear just to create a vacuum inside. Someone can turn this sided gauntlet to do that.
Occurs to me that can be a some kind of transfusion device (blood, oil or something else...)

Since it is inclined, I could see it being used in that position. I was also thinking along the lines of transfusions but couldn't come up with anything definitive.

Three words my Dad, Squareroot, might've used to describe it: a roti-serie, a shenasticator or a volunteer.

    CAN it be mounted vertically?
