What is the style of this brass stand mirror?

    It has a face at the top with rays around it, maybe signifying the sun? and another face bottom center. Also has two angels and two other figures on the side. I am guess it is a reproduction but still need to know of what.. =) Thanks for looking! It's about 14" tall. mirror3.jpg mirror2.jpg mirror.jpg mirror1.jpg

    I would certainly disagree with the word "Gothic."

    I searched and searched and did not find that one, thanks. I agree I don't think it is gothic.

    It appears that "Gothic" has now become one of those descriptive words applied to vintage/antique objects/furniture whether merited by design or not. Think the intent is to communicate "ornate" or just plain "fancy."

    I think it is. The casting, while fairly sharp, is a bit too rough to be old.
