I saw another one of the same that sold on Worthpoint in 2007 but I don't have an account.
He is made of Wood and stands about 2 1/4" tall. missing some paint in spots but he still has his tail lol.
With the original sticker on the bottom. made in Germany.

Unreal collection, don't know where to begin!

Mikey, did not see yours in there, but guessing the collector has it somewhere.

I didn't see it either there.
The one I saw on Worthpoint also had a spring sticking out of his head? Mine has no spring but does have a hole on the top of his head. The worthpoint one was actually an ebay listing from 2007.I hope someone here could look it up for me..

Mikey, can you post a link to the one on Worthpoint? I don't have an account, but seeing the comparison would be interesting.

Looks like he is a little older than i originally thought.
Items marked with the Walter or Walt E Disney were
made in the late 1920's. no wonder he looks so beat up lol.
Another site says 1930-1932 Just before Walt Disney productions labels.

I think older Disney items have a decent following, although pretty sure the market has softened a bit (unless the item is extremely rare.) Seems like people have been collecting vintage Disney long before Ebay. There are still many collectors out there, though.

Something is bothering me about this guy, however. I wonder if he was repainted? I could be wrong. It just seems like older German items are meticulously done, kind of known for that, and the paint on this little fellow seems a bit sloppy. I really noticed it when I compared it to the one on Worthpoint. As a side note, I also think he might be some kind of paper composite rather than wood, which would be consistent with the age.

Its still kind of cool. And looking up google images to try to find a match for this, I actually ran across a piece I had --a tin mouse head -- I always wondered if it was an early Mickey and now have found a match for mine!

You are right lucille, he is some kind of paper mache or something like that. i don't think he has been repainted just really worn and paint missing on areas.
I listed him on the bay. Since i got him for free i started him at .99 because I miss a good bidding war.
