What do you think of this book?

HI my friends. I have obtained this book from a deceased's estate and I see that it is signed from a German officer. I wonder if this means much for value for this book? Thanks for all help

 

I guess such a book is worth about $20-$30. Not sure if the autograph adds or retracts any value.

I think that would be a hard sell at any price. No dust jacket, for one thing. Unless the colonel was someone of note (i.e. infamy.)

The dedication and siggy date from 1966, not 1944.

 

You're right, of course. He belonged to a post-World War II unit. Set up in 1956.

Depending on the officer's personality and role in history, an autograph can either increase or slightly affect the value of the book. I would give more than $40 for it. I am looking for similar books for thesis help, I also found https://ca.edubirdie.com/thesis-help as well. I would like the book Bayern 1963. If you agree, we can discuss the issue. Moreover, it is also signed, I would keep it.
