what do you call these sort of ginger jars? and are they authentic?

    Not a ginger jar. Would not call these "authentic." There is a traditional shape - and these are not that.

    What size are they? They look like some sort of double snuff bottle. Authentic Chinese for sure. Authentic old Chinese? Doubtful.

    Are they enamel ? very pretty,but Id guess newish as well.

    they are said to be enamel, yes. 8.5" tall.

    There was something similar to these at an antiques fair I went too. The seller was chatting to someone and called them ‘booby pots’ because of the **ahem** ‘distinctively’ shaped lids.
