What country is this military cap?

    Too much leather on there to be military IMO

    .the badge looks like it wants to be Soviet ........
    but that's not a military cap.....and the way the badge is sewn on...... is fantasy , at best......

    nice suede cap though..........

    The mounting holes seem sloppy. The sprocket/gear looking piece looks like it might be covering up what was originally there in the center. Might be something put together to look like a hat from a video game/movie/book.

    There are a bunch of cockades like this one on EBay with a leaf pattern nearly identical to yours. Kind of makes me think the cap is a fantasy piece.
