Featured What country are these two wooden faces and or bookends from?

    Meant for a wall display. Not thinking any huge resale value, they were in a free box at a neighbor's estate giveaway, just curious about origin. The family did a lot of international traveling in the 1960s/70s. Approx 9" tall. Any ideas as to origin?

    Same free box had these bookends. Any thoughts on where those might be frome? Thanks.

    The heads are of Bontoc Igorot people, of the Philippines.

    Interesting....and NO disrespect meant or implied, but ALL of the noses look alike, even in the carved ones above!!

    The solid wood bookends look like zebu or brahman cattle, with those longe ears. Given the type of cattle, I think anywhere from India in the west to Thailand in the east.
