Featured What company did this chicken top and do you know the color’s name?

I see it listed as a few different companies. Mosser, Boyd, Indiana.

don't forget Westmoreland, Degenhart, etc. Many companies made and/or reproduced Hen On Nest; without marks it's often difficult to determine actual maker. The hen on nest book might help. From the details I can make out it may be an old unknown maker often referred to as 'Linebacker'. the color from images looks like teal or turquoise to me; colors made my several makers.

My first thought was Teal.

 

These dishes are a bear to ID. I have the hen on nest book but it would help to have the exact dimensions (width and length of the top). Even with a manufacturer ID color can be difficult. Indiana used four different color names for the same shade of Horizon Blue/Aqua/Aquamarine/Turquoise.
