What are these??

I got this for .50 each. I don't know what they are used for. Kinda creepy looking to me. Looks like cows with wings and tiny horns. They have a metal wire to hang them. I couldn't image where these would be hung.

 

I think they are Christmas ornaments. Here is an auction for the molds to make them. (or similar)

I was hoping they weren't anything ritualistic. I'll have my kids paint them and use them as ornaments then. Thanks.
