My mom was going through a bunch of my great grandfathers stuff and found these. What do y’all think?

 

more info needed, because it could be a deco pistol or alarm pistol. some decommissioned ones that were made unusable.

I see a katana and a Walther P38, if that's what you're asking.

I think we need more photos, especially of the katana (hilt, tsuba). And please remember to click on 'full image', and think of our arthritic necks.

 

Isn't the Walther P38 the gun favored by James Bond?

At a casual glance the katana does not seem to be particularly high quality. I think maybe military issue in WWII, likely brought back after the war.

The walther with original box and papers is a nice find would need to see condition and age though, they are nice shooting weapons.

the gun will have a number on it......that'll help track it..
