Weird looking bronze sculpture

    Looks like a (modern?) cross between a Luristan bronze and Mexican pottery devils.

    I'm with the Luristan option -- search for "Master of Animals."

    Yes, similar, but the original Luristan objects were made as parts of horse harness (archeologists believe), not freestanding sculptures with a base.

    Oh, I'm not saying it's old (at all) -- just the image I think inspired it.

    I could be wrong, but my best guess is that the piece is new and intending to deceive. EDIT to add: I think that because of the quality of the casting... it's pretty sloppy and crude. ADDITIONAL EDIT: But I could be wrong, not an expert.
