I was cleaning out a junk drawer and came across this bag of 24 little forks(?). Not marked ,and only about 3" long. They seem to be like a Peruvian theme with what looks like gods and maybe a llama and someone playing a pan flute?. Anyway they have a little hook on the back like they hung on something. I'm guessing maybe tools for deveining shrimp? Anybody know what they are? Can't for the life of me remember when I bought them, but I did pay $5 for them, if the tag is to be believed.

I'd say hors d'oeuvres/shrimp picks as well, with hooks for hanging on the side of the bowl - a 1940s-1950s novelty affectation.............

They are probably about .900 silver even without marks.

    The Mexicans made them too.

Thank you all! I learned something new. Hors durvies were always finger food where I came from. No wonder everyone was looking at me when I sucked the pimento out and put an olive on each finger at the last dinner party I was invited to! Maybe that's why it WAS the last dinner party I was invited to! LOL

Mid 20th century cocktail picks, the little hooks keep olives or other garnishes from slipping into the glass - could certainly be used for hors d'oeuvres as well.

The neat thing about these is that they also identify the glass you are using if you set it down.

Depends on what is in the glass!
