weekend find (four volumes French dictionary)

    Back from vacation I just took a short saturday walk to the local market and found a four volumes French dictionary.
    Big and heavy they weight about 17kg.

    They look as if they date from the mid 19th C. In todays market I see them as furnishing books, sold by the meter to dress up offices.

    Yes that is unfortunately quite normal. But in a way it helps to keep them around for the future.
    They are late 19th century and the first edition on this format but that will not give them for now any big value.
