    You've a typo in the artist's name. It's E. Van Goethem. That work with the three young girls is credited to him. Are you sure these are original watercolors? I ask because there appear to be lots of prints of his work around.

    You know I have framed many items if it was a piece of paper I wouldn't frame it the way I just saw it. But anyway I couldn't tell from all the tape and glue.

    JMHO. those prices are made up by this "little picture gallery". although sweet and cute, also the biography seems to be made up or dramatised.
    if I had to sell these I'd invent a story on the lines of" Batman great-grand-father found" or "Batman is of Flamish stock. originally baptised "Brix van de Voorkant, van Achteren en van Goethem" he changed his name to "Bruce Wayne of Gotham" when meeting the US film industry...

    If so, they had very little imagination, asking just £7.;)

    Van Goethem not an unusual surname in Belgium. Goethem is the old spelling of Goetem, a hamlet which is now part of Brussels. (Aka Gotham City :playful:)
