the frame is 10 1/4" X 12 1/4" under partially painted glass. I am not a revolutionary war buff must I really love this vintage print. what is it and who did it? I was hoping that I would not have to remove the felt backing to ID it. 20200215_064557.jpg 20200215_064611.jpg 20200215_064621.jpg 20200215_064634.jpg 20200215_064650.jpg 20200215_064701.jpg 20200215_064708.jpg 20200215_064727.jpg

I should add that, according to one of the online sources, the original watercolor is at the FDR Library in NY. Yours is, of course, a copy print.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Poor guy in the Lower Left, has quite a Mash Up of his face!!!!!!!!!!!!!:jawdrop::jawdrop: Well, at least that's how it looks upside down.....not so bad when rotated!!

Thanks 2manybooks Yes Aquitaine if looks could kill.
I did not see many of the images online great for the revolutionary war collectors. do you think that if I remove the back I could find out who printed it?

Now that you know the original artist, and the printer, and the dates, you should be able to find comparable examples.

6 1/4" X 8 3/8" seems like the frame was customized to the arched image. well either way it a perfect marriage. 20200224_181935.jpg 20200224_181951.jpg
