Walking stick

Perhaps if this is antique or something of a newer date etc... What kind of style does this stick belongs to ? Thank you in advance !

    some kind of feline animal...?
    maybe carved of horn.....which would place it from Asia..
    or some dark hardwood???....
    Hard to tell from here...
    though it doesn't look that old..

    Check out this Welsh fellow's walking sticks (see the "gallery")- there are some similar features on some of his, such as the use of horn and glass eyes. Yours might be what is termed a "thumb stick", with a place to rest your thumb between the cat's ears.

    Ty for your reply ! I have actually ordered this cane & waiting to arrive. I guess it's made from some dark hardwood... For some reason it reminds me at some african sticks .. Yes it is a black feline in some odd kind of shape :)

    yes, thumb stick.......you couldn't cup your hand over those pointy ears...
    what size is it ?

    I believe it is somewhere about 90 cm long or so.
