W. Jones boat painting appraisal?

Neighbor has this painting and he was wondering about its value so i thought id help him. Do any of you folks happen to know the value or if this is a rare one of a kind.

I'm not sure that value of a painting will be easy to guess unless you find enough paintings by the artist. Many folks here won't click on a link so would it be possible to insert the photos rather than the links? I think more people will have a look that way.

 

I wouldnt think it has much value as its obvious factory art.

So far i have been scouring the web and have not see any paintings that are the same. Are you sure this specific painting is factory art?

 

Im pretty sure,but I could always be wrong. Just my opinion.

If you really believe that it's a rare one of a kind......show it to a fine auction house.....or art dealer and see what they say.

but remember....if it's one of a kind.....without knowing the artist.....it'll have little or no value at all.

 

Looks like factory art to me. I worked in a shop that sold this stuff so I spent a lot of time looking at it.
