    Good Evening Ladies & Gents,

I'm curious if anyone knows anything about this beer stein that I picked up on a trade. I don't think it's that old but I know it's hard to find. My guess it is specially made maybe for staff of Volkswagen? What I found different is that it uses the Wolfsburg logo instead of the common logo that we are most accustom to. I've done a search on the Internet for this stein but have only found one on Ebay listed for about $54.00/US but it doesn't tell much about it. If someone could also let me know where I can find out more info on this stein that would be helpful too.

    Thank you!
    Respects,

    Lhlalyam

I would just call it a half litre stoneware German beer mug.

I've been there! Picked up a new VW at the Wolfsburg plant once when I was a little girl. But I digress... think yours is a souvenir item from the plant's accessories store. Yours appears to be an older (but not old old) version. Others I find on the internet appear to be newer.

Thank you KingofThings and Aquitaine. Would you know of a place online that is like a catalog or do you think this is something that would come directly from the horses mouth?

No idea, but I do need to point out a flaw. It's empty.(LOL) I'd be using it as a coffee mug, but others would use it for other beverages.
