The make/type of the electrical plug dates it to around 1950’s. But I was wondering if was perhaps an antique floor candelabra that someone then turned/modified into a lamp? Weight around 10kg. Stands 1,65m tall and is 55cm across at the top. Thanks for any comments

Not an expert but... I'd think a tad earlier and designed as a floor lamp.

Absolutely awesome Boland-would've looked perfect in our old 1920's Santa Rosa Spanish Revival bungalow.Still think about that place ! King St.jpg

I also think earlier and always a lamp. Maybe circa 1925. Looks a lot like the work of Goberg, though I am not sure they did floor lamps. If Goberg, it should have a tiny stamp somewhere in the metal with the name, or sometimes just Germany.

#6. 1950s. See it. Possible it was rewired at some point? The lamp is Spanish Revival a style that was popular in the 1920s and 1930s, mainly in California and Florida.

Thank you for the reply and info. I will search Goberg and see. I will have to clean the lamp before looking for any stamp. Thanks again
