I have a vintage Wood-Eez weaved wooden bowl or a plastic looking weaved wooden bowl. Dimensions are 11 3/4" top dia. x 2 1/4" tall. It has a center indention that is 7" from one end to the other with a 1 3/4" dia. center circle indention. There is a sticker on the bottom see photo. I could not find anything on this bowl in my research.
What kind of bowl is this?
What would this bowl been used for?
What is the indention in the middle used for?
What decade do you think this is from?
Thank you for assistance in these requests. Rob

My SWAG would be a chip& dip bowl missing the glass or plastic dip bowl.

A good suggestion, Peggy. 50s or 60s perhaps.

And the proper term is "woven" not "weaved."

I remember those from the 60s, I think they are woven bamboo strips, like a bamboo mat. As Peggy said, it is missing a flower-shaped bowl.
    True. And shaken, not stirred.:playful:

Loads of these around in the 70's in Canada, I think we even had some for a while

They're wood strips, compressed in a resin base, date back as early as the late '40s-early '50s, and are made of several different woods - they were sold to the general public for home use, but the salad bowls I grew up with were remnants of my parent's early '60s restaurant. They're freakishly sturdy, even standing up to commercial dishwashers - the plates and bowls are still readily available at restaurant suppliers, and I see them fairly often in service...

Didn't look any further, but here's the same piece, part of an unsold lot in 2019:

Thank you I will definitely take a better look at it on worthpoint. I would not doubt that I have the bowls probably in another box. I will not put this up until I look for those bowls. Rob

Thank you for describing the construction of the wood strips in that bowl. Rob
