Vintage vs Replica Cobalt Glass

    Does anyone have any advice on how to tell if a cobalt blue glass jar or vase is actually vintage or just a replica? We got a few in at a fundraising rummage sale I'm helping to run and we're trying to value them. We think at least one of the bottles is a replica, but we're less sure of the other bottle and the vase. I'll put up pictures of the items below, but any general advice for going forward would also be super awesome. Thanks!

    Good find, Laura! That looks just like it.

    The PEPPER jar may be a reproduction, the other 2 appear to have honest age.

    I believe they are the same mold, perhaps different makers.

    The pepper isn't reproduction, I'd think, just a brand new jar that never pretended to be old. I've seen these before.

    Oh, thanks. I wasn't discriminating enough to figure that out, but I've not seen one before (yet) lol.

    Ruth, do you think the top bottle with the screw neck is old? (just curious)

    No idea. It has a screw thread, so not Old old, but even the 70s reproductions are vintage now.

    Yes I couldn't quite decide if it was 1970s or 1930ish. I'm leaning towards 1970.
