Vintage table Lamp metal Large globe like

This lamp is about 3 1/2" tall Who made it. and what is it made of

Another circa 1970 lamp in the so-called Hollywood regency style. Suspect it is American from imported parts. Globe part is probably glass with gesso applied.

 

I've seen it called Bordello style too. It was an ornate style with a lot of metallic elements. It fit in with the dark wood 1960s Spanish colonial-influenced furniture in style at the time.
