    Ugg, need some help here.

    Shout out to @terry5732 and others of course, please.

    Terry is pretty good at this type of stuff.
    I've tried researching the 2 top instruments. The Smith's indicator, I can't find any others for comparison. I guess with Starboard and port it could be nautical or aeronautical.
    How would you list this? As a whole instrument panel, as it is? I was told it came off of an old oil ship in Nigeria. It's heavy and measures 12.5" x 16" high.
    I just thought it had a neat industrial look to it, but I need help with what to do, now that I have it, LOL!:bucktooth:

    Looks as if it could have been to show the angle of a steerable propeller assembly, from the dial it looks as if it was fully rotatable for manouverability.

    I see you are missing a knob off of one of the selector switches. It appears to be a "Cutler Hammer" selector switch. If you like, I can check my stock to see if I have a replacement knob.

    Desperate fun thank you so much! That is so very kind of you to offer to do that:).
    I had never heard of that, so I looked it up (learn something new everyday:shame:). I don't think it is one of those switches though? It appears to be the same push in button as the last 2 on the bottom row, but just missing the color piece that goes on top? It does push in just like those two do.

    I noticed that as well (Push Button) after looking at it a little closer. Monday morning I'll take a look and see what I have of that style of push button.

    @tyeldom3

    I have some of those switches here at work. (They are actually "Square D" and not "Cutler Hammer") A couple of questions for you. What color would you like? (Red,Green,Black,Yellow,Blue) And can you take a closer pic of the colored insert for me? There are 2 different types, one smooth and one with ridges/circles. It appears they have the ridges like this one. Switch Insert.JPG

    Hi yes it does have the ridges. I took a quick pic anyway to get your thought on which color looks best. There are 2 orange/redish and 1 green. Maybe something different huh?, like yellow or blue maybe?:cat:
    So kind of you. Crazy and great, that you have something like that lying around!

    From what the labeling is. I would say green insert. (Engage)
