Vintage Pair of Shoe Buckles?

Hi there. Can you or someone you who can identify the metal (silver?) pair of (I'm assuming) shoe buckles. Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated, David

That could be too. The rotated picture was not there when I posted.

 

On the back or bottom of objects, there can be an impressed, etched, engraved, etc. mark with the maker's logo or the artist's signature. In searching down your treasures' origin and date, these marks are crucial. There can also be sterling or gold marks too. Always show them here.

'S' & 'A' is correct.
