This is a vintage floral painting I purchased from the thrift store. I think it's probably mid-century or 1970's. It has a sticker on it with Padova so I think it's from Padova Italy. I've searched around for the info on the label without too much success.

The painting measures about 17 1/2" in length 13 1/2" in height not including the frame. There is what looks like a faint signature in the left corner which i can't make out. I know it's far fetched but can anyone make out the name or anything else about the painting. Thanks in advance for any information.

Given that it came out of a drug store, likely a decorative item.

Despite the way it sounds, a drogheria is actually a grocery shop. My guess is that the burlap used to back the painting somehow came from Padua, but the notations all appear to be in English.

Thank you for the correction. I wasn't think "pharmacy;" I was thinking household supplies, etc. but, yes, of course... food too.

Thanks all. I usually don't favor floral paintings but I actually like this one. There was just some creativity about it to me. See if you can find this image in the painting.

That's what I was seeing and getting at, a face! I guess everyone sees art in different ways, that's the great thing about it.
