Not a recent purchase, these were from a sale (....ahhh to go back in time 15 years ago, this is the one sale I would go to...). Former owner had been a socialite in town and the estate sale had SEVEN (7!) full long tables of unique vintage jewelry. If only I knew then what I know now! I had some knowledge of costume jewelry, but still. Things weren't totally inexpensive, but in hindsight... I remember getting several things, actually more non-jewelry items, much already sold, but for some reason held on to this set. Never actually wore it all these years and finally it is time to list, 15 years later!

For some reason I am thinking Czech (??) even though it doesn't totally remind me of other pieces I have. Thoughts on age...maybe 40s? 20s? Necklace is 17" long.

It's quite beautiful in the hand. Those are tiny marcasite centers in the flowers. I'm guessing the yellow stone is glass, setting is open in the back. Also I do not believe that the metal is gold. No markings. Thoughts? Thanks for taking a look.

Ok, 24k.jpg on your third picture down. I can barely read it but does it say 24k or just scratches?

Thanks for taking a look Ulilwitch. Just scratches there. I don't think this is gold... maybe brass?? The metal is a little bit "stamped" feeling, but also has a little substance to it.

The front looks Czech but not the back - it's not fancy enough. I'm wondering just post war German.

Could be German. But there are some details on the back, for example this floral pattern on the back of the open set rhinestones.

The rhinestone setting is actually better than the pendant part, hm?

I know! It is interesting looking at the close-ups. I think for the pendant the outer section is stamped (??) metal and looks like they soldered in the 3 open back glass/rhinestones to that piece. I don't know if I'm correct calling them rhinestones actually --faceted glass, maybe?

I love that detail. But I'm with obb, it could be non-Czech.
