Here's another painting I found at a local thrift store - I asked the manager to hold it for a day to give me time to research it & he agreed (I buy a LOT of paintings from this place, so he probably figures the odds are in his favor I'll be back for it!).
    They are asking $50
    It's a smaller painting (about 9" I'd guess)
It looks like it's dated 1920 or 1970
Anyone know artist's name? (P. Friske?)
Thoughts on buying it (to resell)?
    Thank you for any help!

Looking at the back and the modern staples I'd say 1970 and I wouldn't buy it but that's just me. 50.00 for a 9 in painting at a "thrift" shop is laughable.

I was just about to type "not a popular subject" when I saw the above. To my eye, artist's name reads "P. Fraile." But I suggest you save your $50 on this one.
