    Hi
I got this with a bundle of glass paperweights at auction.
I collect paperweights but know nothing about marbles and wondered if anyone could help with ID.
It measures 33mm or 1.3 inches
It has an internal latticino spiral.

    I presume it’s a marble?
Any way of telling period it was made.
    Thanks in advance

Very striking and cool. Not sure it’s a marble or vintage.

Just googled Lutz marbles. Very similar looking (I think) But if vintage then yours are in a perfect/unplayed condition?

Thanks, I've had a look and although similar haven't found too many that similar to mine. I did find one previously sold at auction (pic attached) that looks similar (this one was 4.5cm) , although latticino centre is white not coloured. Also condition of mine seems too good if a genuine old marble but guess as with all old toys some can be in excellent condition - said very hopefully!

what a gorgeous marble! There are several sellers on ebay who offer stands for displaying marbles (in either glass or plexiglas in different sizes). I, too, have a large marble that came in a lot with a signed paperweight. Was going to sell both of them but somehow they are stuck here and I love them and won't be selling anytime soon, lol.

I don't collect paperweights. I just collect what I love and it turns out I love several paperweights!! And now I love beautiful marbles too.
