    Would anyone know what kind of stone these earrings are made of? The bigger stone is a little thicker. I know the history of the maker already.

    Looks like spinach jade to my eye. This etsy.com seller described as "green stone."

    That sunburst motif was popular in the 1980s (e.g. Christian Lacroix) and the clip back might lead one to believe they're later but... This 1958 ad shows Marino introduced the "Pres-Sure clip" in 1958.
