I found this at my local thrift store yesterday and liked it right away.
But when I did a goigle image search all the ones that came up were red, instead of the yellow mine is?
Was it in a sunny windows too long? A different color idea that didn't go?
I'm pretty sure it's real - it has Printed for French Government along the bottom + on the back of the foam board it's on is a small label that says it was spray mounted - which you wouldn't do on a copy, would you?
Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you!
PS - 1st pics is inside & 2nd was taken in sunlight.

I don't think I've seen a better example of how fugitive that red can be. The Florida sun is cruel.

I would have expected the cyan, black and yellow to have faded to some degree too if it’s just sun damage. Looks to me as if the magenta plate just didn’t print.

My dad was in the print trade. Blue is the worse for fade, but some reds do it badly too. That looks like fade.

I can see there’s not much fading to the blue S the D and C between the two printings.
It’s hard to believe just the magenta has been affected by the sun.
    The black looks solid too.

Black prints solid. The lettering has lost its magneta in the letters i, t, m r, and e for examples. The cyan and yellow do appear to have held.

I’ve had a closer look. Looks like this area is unaffected magenta?
I obviously don’t know the strength of the Florida sun!
