Vintage frame, vintage print no value, right?

I need a shabby vintage frame for a project, and this was at my local GW. Am I correct that a vintage print like this has little or no resale value? Was planning to take it apart and re-donate the print. Thanks.

Toulouse-Lautrec was my guess, too. I knew I'd seen the scene. So a 1920's print... no resale value, right?

I think it's more 1980s than 1920s, and no. Negligible value. They still sell them by the thousands.

Fair enough, the print might be newer than the frame. Good point. Just confirming no one wants the print, sounds like that is the case. Frame could be as late as 40's. It is carved wood, floral paper backing, and has older hardware. Might pre-date the print. Getting it ready for a certain craft project! Thanks.

Double check that site Deborah posted. The hand painted reproductions start at $200.

And check for gallery marks on the back. Official reproductions from his lifetime are worth something.

All good ideas, thanks so much.

(Sorry Komokwa, it is probably spoken for. No huge value, I'm guessing, but a neighbor was interested.)

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

It's pretty, but does look a bit faded.
