Vintage Chinese/Japanese pin/Brooch

    Not that I read any of these languages, but looks more like Korean to me than Chinese or Japanese.

    This piece isn't enamel,some type of ceramic,the back look like silver but not sure

    seems there is a painted border in the green. that must be very finely painted ceramics shouldn't be surprising in china

    No idea about the brooch I'm afraid but there is something truly addictive about searching through a newly acquired job lot and finding little gems.

    Very pretty, antiquelover. The back looks like silver, and it has age.

    I don't really recognize the Chinese happiness symbol, it could possibly be the one top right. Certainly no double happiness symbol:

    The back has age, 20s or 30s. I think Korean too.

    The mark on the back reminds me of a satsuma mon.

    Yes, it could be a Japanese mon. Mons are crests, every Japanese family, company and organisation has one.

    @antiquelover69 alex webb has identified the chinese characters. it is written in old style square format used for making chinese seal or marks on chinese porcelain. looks like painted ceramic. not sure if origin is chinese but i think it is. it is very pretty :)
