Victorian value?

    Looks like your wife's family was the original buyer. Age would be around 110-120 years. This is a walnut Eastlake parlor set. "Brown" furniture such as this, though of much higher quality than most new furniture, has very little demand these days. Value depends on where you are. In the U.S. Midwest a set like this might bring $200-$400 depending on the day.

    I’ve had several people ask to buy the two red pieces. Should I break up the set? I’ve told everyone thus far I’d like to keep it together.

    If they're offering a decent amount, I'd take it. You'll still have a set of four.

    looks like the white needs to be redone....so ya.....sell the red ones off....for the best u can get..

    The two red pieces are the most valuable.
    So you should take that into consideration.
    The other four chairs need recovering and are more common.

    The money you get for the red ones may be all the money you get.
