Featured Victorian Embroidered lace blouse - help needed

    The picture is a little blurry, but this looks like Irish crochet...beautiful!!!

    Gorgeous, AntiqueF.
    As Wenna said, it looks like Irish crochet, but could be one of the fancier cousins, Youghal lace or Kenmare lace. The last two are needlepoint laces.
    All were developed by nuns during the Irish potato famine of the mid 19th century to provide an income for poor girls.

    Could we see more pictures, details, also of the mesh, and the seams?
    If you photograph it near a window you will have more (natural) light and it is easier to get a good focus.
