Very rare Buddy Johnson 1956

From my collection. This is a great Saturday morning upbeat jump blues/jazz LP to put on the turntable while you sip that coffee.

This is an original and rare 1956 Mercury Records first pressing of Buddy Johnson & His Orchestra/Rock ‘N Roll. In the first pressing this is an incredibly hard issue of the record to find. The song selection on it is great & guaranteed to get you up and jiving! My copy, well the vinyl is in great mint playable condition, and the cover is still in the original shrink wrap it was bought in. Like one of the songs on the album says....it’s obdacious!!

I think I have seen It’s Obdacious/You Got It Made/Bring It Home To Me/A Pretty Girl (A Cadillac and Some Money) by Buddy on You Tube before I bought this.

 

i found 'french heels' last night, thanks, a cute song, but almost too scratched to hear! i kept thinking how it's a good thing Maven has a better copy!

 

I know; I can’t believe I happened on to this mint copy of French Heels, what are the odds. I’ve got lucky clovers sometimes lol
