Very old pottery or something else?

    Hi all
    Bought a bunch of Laugharne Pottery goblets the other day and this piece of pottery was in amongst them.
    Anyone have any ideas of likely origin and age?
    I was thinking possibly South or Central American or maybe African but to be honest bit lost so any help appreciated.
    It feels like it could be quite old?

    look at Stirrup Vessel, pre columbian , Moche....
    u may need a museum to authenticate this one......;)

    The style is certainly Chimú, which is one of the Moche periods. But I always find those Moche vessels with footrims iffy, and the surface is not as smooth as the ones I am used to seeing.
    Best take it to an expert.
