When I do an image search it one comes up as 19th century Meiji Imari plate?
A smaller similar one with the same bird in the middle was sold as that.
    Even was badly cracked.
Mine is 9 1/2" diameter with no chips or cracks.

It’s probably c1900. Part printed part painted .

You can see that part of the design is stenciled. (I wish that I could type "stencilled" because "stenciled" looks like it should be pronounced "sten-sigh-elled.") Anyway...John Brassey is correct in dating because that design style seems to be mostly dated to that era.

Awesome! It was cheap and thought it was kind of ugly, but thought it was older.

There are a couple of words like that. They are designed to make us doubt ourselves.;)

An image search couldn’t really ever tell you how old a plate is. Just how old similar designs are. Same design on a 500 year old plate and a 5 day old plate would yield the same image search results. Imari designs have been in constant use. I find Imari trickier than most things to date in general. Luckily some users noticed the partially printed aspect of this one. Imari seems to have always been a bit “sloppier” than most Asian motifs but as with all of them often the older they are the finer the work is. This one is not super nice but all quality and price levels of Imari seem to have a market. It’s not my favorite Asian motif but many westerners do like it.
