Vase Marked R S Prussia Suhl.

    Do you think this is a fake piece? I can't find the mark anywhere on real/fake sites. The shape looks correct and there's age wear on the bottom, but I also can't find anything with this pattern, so I'm hoping the R S Prussia folks will be able to help.

    Vase is approximately 8 1/2" tall.

    Thank you very much! So it appears that the mark is correct, and the shape is right. The vase is translucent and quite light weight. But I'm still wondering about the pattern--I can't find anything like it. The only Prussia book I have is by McCaslin. Neither my book nor a Google image search is turning up anything like it.

    Those roughly done airbrushed leaves look odd to my non expert eyes :pigeon:

    Yep, I wouldn't have posted here if I was sure it was authentic. I joined a FB RS Prussia group and posted the same photos. One person has replied and said it's absolutely authentic. I'll see if any others chime in.
