I guess the mark is more recent.
Not finding a lot of those online. So far only one identical but in blue glaze.

I also couldn't find another Briggle bird other than a Ming Blue one. The color/glaze of this one is new to me. It may??? be their Trout Lake glaze??? The Trout Lake glaze was done in the 1950s and 1960s I think?? Nowwww I'm certainly not sure that is this glaze.

I haven't been able to definitely date the markings on yours either.

It could the 2nd up from the bottom on this page, but yours doesn't seem to have finisher's initials or a date unless at the bottom of yours what I thought was Co for Colorado is a finisher's mark?

The clay color of the bottom may be the one pictured for 1930-1970 White clay Shellac.

There are quite a few of them on worthpoint in different colors.

Thanks. I should check worthpoint more often. Seems like those birds are from the 80's.
I found one blue that was described as being from the 20's but I don't think those were made for such a long period.

That glaze is new for me as well. It is definitely not one of the traditional ones. In the past, the only shiny glazed pieces from VB were marked with the Anna mark. Van Briggle has come out with new glazes in recent years and I have not kept up with it all.
