    hi there,

Was wondering if someone could tell me the value of this tea set? It has ‘japan’ written in gold on the bottom of each piece.

Hello and welcome Jennifer90! I believe the value of your tea set is primarily decorative. In other words, what someone would pay to have it to display in their homes. I don't think it has any collectible value per se. It might help if you published a picture of the bottom of one of the pieces including the mark. Sometimes the folks here can tell a lot just by seeing the bottom and the mark.
