    Hi all,
You have been so helpful to me in the past, so here I am again. I found this chair in the attic from my uncle’s house. No idea what it is worth or how much I should sell it for (we’re moving). Any help is much appreciated. Thank you so much!

From the holes on the bottom, guessing it had a cane seat?

Don't let anyone too heavy sit down hard on that cracked seat!

Great observation. I didn't know that might be the case. That makes sense because I have other chairs that have caning from the same attic! antique-caned-chairs.jpg antique-caned-chairs2.jpg

Yes, caned. But replaced by solid seat some time ago if upholstery fabric is any guide.

I actually thought about donating these to the thrift store unless they had some real inherent value. They need work for sure.

You don't have any use for them? They are lovely! They look late Victorian to my unexpert eye.
