I bought a box of stuff for $6. It had some stainless steel cups, silver or plated silver handleless cups and this heavy, thick creamer set. On the bottom of has a stamp that reads V.ZWANENBURG. F SOLA 90. I'll try to load a picture.
id guess restaurant ware, maybe hotel . Silver plated. Doesnt look terribly old to me.But hopefully youll put up a few more pics. Welcome
I found a teapot on eBay that was described: V. Zwanenburg ROTTERDAM (Holland-America Line) NASM Silver Soldered Teapot identical markings but in rougher shape. That's all I've found so far.
If you go to the website below, they has a pic of a bowl, with theis hallmark...That might help. https://www.etsy.com/listing/161110116/antique-collectible-vzwanenburg-sola?show_sold_out_detail=1 Antique Collectible V.ZWANENBURG SOLA Silver Plated Artist: V. Zwanenburg Designer Sola Manufacturer Nederlandsch-Amerikaansche Stoomvaart Maatschappij Commissioner Accession: TD1993.39.7 Country: Netherlands Zeist Date: circa 1915 1922
you'll find more than enough of that stuff online. https://www.google.ch/search?q=van+...mAhXJQEEAHejACfoQsAR6BAgJEAE&biw=1536&bih=711 IMO unsellable except to homesick Dutch. the 90 mark might correspond to the German silverplate system (80/90/100).
