US ? Pottery Vase Maker

    My first thought was brush McCoy matte Vellum but the glaze is more runny than I would expect and that incised circle on the bottom is not typical. Is that a mark above the circle?

    IMG_8137.JPG It is a mark, looks like number 5 but could be something else. Another thing is the foot rim, it's not flat or fully rouded but has an edge in the middle. I guess not very typical for most of the US pottery pieces?

    Any chance to be Bybee/Waco piece?

    NO to Bybee/Waco or other Southern potteries ..... I am leaning toward Belgian or French. Can't think of any US pottery this fits.

    Aren't their glazes mostly glossy or they do have matte ones?
