Found this interesting coin today. On the one side it reads Fourth Cavalry Exchange and on the other Good For 50 cents. Measures 1 1/4" in diameter. I assume this dates to the mid to late 1800's. Wondering if anyone else has ever seen one for the 4th Cavalry. I know they started in Missouri prior to the Civil war and also spent time in Texas in the later stages of the Civil war and for several years after. I have found a couple of these for the 1st US Cavalry that were specific to South Dakota. i have not been able to locate another of these for the 4th. Just wondering if anyone might have an idea of the age and where they were stationed when these were issued. Thanks
