Any idea what this is? It is very light weight. Underneath it is "Lot III 9/ 86 and 38. Or at least that's what I think it says
It may be Lor or Loc. 20171027_155459.jpg 20171027_155459.jpg 20171027_155248.jpg 20171027_155211.jpg

It's pretty small. Maybe 5-6 inches across, 3-4 inches tall

There are some open sugar bowls with similar shapes, but then you're tasked with looking for the pattern....

It would help if I could figure out what flower it is. A violet, I think?

What's weird is that the shape is slightly different on each side. Like, the curves of the rim aren't perfectly symmetrical.

The Victorians created some items for decorative and/or visual appeal only as opposed to any practical use. The flower on the left looks like a morning glory to me but I'm not sure about the leaves. The decoration is perhaps a transfer outline that was then hand colored. The lack of symmetry may have been a problem with the mold. If the piece didn't come out of the mold cleanly sometimes the edge was hand finished so it would be salvageable. I would guess late 1800's. Not sure of the origin, could be American or Continental. The letters and numbers could very well represent auction lots. A lot of maybes and sometimes but it's the best I can do. Hopefully someone will stop by with corrections or further info.
