Featured Unusual goblet any ideas?

Any help much appreciated

 

all that gold spray on the base is indicitive of Utalian - but all that superb carved / acid cut back work on the bowl is indicitive of French Cameo - I am lost on this one - a beauty!

 

I haven't been able to stop thinking about this goblet - here's the thing - when cameo/carving gets this elaborate it leads to very few options - my guess is that this goblet is Daum Nancy - that carving is insane! can we see the inside of the goblet and the bottom ? have you checked for a signature with a magnifying glass ?

 

here is a piece of Daum in the same caliber of quality - it is adorned with gold enamel like yours is - these pieces are VERY scarce - it is the only piece of Daum I could find on eBay with this caliber of carving - most pieces are much much less elaborate... there is no mention of a Daum signature on this eBay piece... I think some more research in this direction is worth your while...
