Well, I have had this one for about 30 Years, maybe Stagbox1.jpg Stagbox2.jpg Stagbox3.jpg Stagbox4.jpg someone can give me a bit of help on where and when it came from? It’s about 9 inches wide, 7 deep, and 9 tall. Rather heavy and appears to be all brass. I was in real bad shape when I got it, I cleaned it up and made a new liner for it. (The original velvet liner turned to dust) With the liner removed you can see thru the box. No markings I can find anywhere? Any thoughts on it would be appreciated.

Very Interesting! All three are slightly different. One has no screws on the bottom, another has flathead recessed screws, and the one I have has round head screws? One box also has a latch with a release button, the other ones don't? The style of the hinges also appears to be different? The liner of my box was green and in the same style. From the listings, it appears no one knows where they came from?

    Thanks for the great replies!!
